Hydrogen occupies a unique space in the executor market because it is one of the only free options that genuinely supports iOS. Most executors target Windows first, Android second, and ignore iOS entirely due to Apple's restrictions. Hydrogen's team has managed to make it work on both major mobile platforms, which makes it the default recommendation for any mobile player.

On Android, Hydrogen works similarly to other mobile executors. Install the APK from the official source, enable installs from unknown sources in your settings, and follow the in-app setup process. The interface is adapted for touchscreen use — larger buttons, a simplified script input area, and a built-in script library that covers the most popular games.

The iOS version is the more impressive achievement. It does not require a jailbreak on most recent iOS versions, which removes the main barrier that traditionally prevented iOS users from running executors. The setup process is slightly more involved than Android — you typically need to use a PC briefly to sideload the app — but once installed it works without ongoing PC involvement.

Script compatibility on mobile is inevitably more limited than PC. Scripts that rely on PC-specific functions, complex UI libraries, or high-performance execution will not run correctly on Hydrogen. However, the most in-demand scripts — auto farms, teleporters, basic ESPs — work well. For games like Blox Fruits or Pet Simulator, Hydrogen handles the popular scripts reliably.

The executor is free with no key system, which is genuinely unusual. Most free executors use a key system to monetise, but Hydrogen is straightforward — download, install, use. This simplicity is a major part of its appeal for mobile users who find the key process cumbersome on a phone screen.

One limitation worth noting is update speed. Mobile executors are harder to update than PC ones, so there can be longer gaps after Roblox updates before Hydrogen is patched.
